Thorogood Crosstrex i-MET2 Mid Black/Grey Waterproof Composite Toe Internal Met Guard Men’s Work Hiker – 804-6490

The Thorogood Crosstrex iMet2 is a mid-height, hiker-style work boot that offers protection from all angles featuring an iMet2 internal metguard and composite safety toe. Metatarsal guards, otherwise known as metguards, protect the sensitive bones that make up the top of your foot from being crushed underneath falling objects on the job. However, they can often be bulky, rigid, and just a downright eyesore in their traditional form. The Crosstrex features iMet2 technology, which is comprised of a lightweight and highly flexible metguard located on the inside of the work boot rather than the outside that’s also fully integrated with the composite safety toe to provide seamless protection that not only translates to a less restrictive and more comfortable wearing experience compared to your typical metguard boot, but also a nicer appearance that’s right at home off the jobsite as it is on. Additionally, these hikers come equipped with a waterproof breathable membrane that locks water out while allowing moisture to escape to keep your feet dry and comfortable should you find yourself working out in wet weather, along with an aggressive Crosstrex 360 outsole that provides exceptional, multi-directional traction on a variety of terrain.
