Caterpillar Class 2 Reflective Hi-Vis Hooded Long Sleeve T-Shirt

This hi-vis hooded long sleeve t-shirt by Caterpillar pulls double duty to keep you safe on the job, featuring ANSI Class 2 reflective taping and UPF 30 protection. While safety vests are the typically accepted form of PPE worn by construction and road crews, they can ironically cause injury by getting snagged on materials or equipment. It’s also pretty easy to forget them at home or lose them in your vehicle, potentially resulting in disciplinary action that you’d rather not deal with at all. This hi-vis work shirt solves both problems, allowing you to satisfy your workplace PPE requirements since your everyday work shirt is also your safety vest. It’s also much more comfortable, being made of soft and lightweight jersey fabric with moisture control that keeps you cool in warm weather. For those who work outdoors, you’ll benefit from long sleeves and an attached hood that serve to keep your arms and head covered from harmful UV rays. However, most people don’t know that damage from sun rays can even occur when wearing a shirt. The UPF 30 protection woven into the fabric of the high-visibility shirt helps to keep those rays from penetrating the fabric and causing long-term damage.
