Matterhorn Arc 10-Inch Waterproof Composite Toe Puncture-Resistant Logger

The Matterhorn Arc is a men’s 10-inch composite toe logger with powerful protective and weather-resistant characteristics designed for the harshest outdoor jobs out there. This work boot has a tough brown leather exterior that is saline-resistant, which helps prevent damage to the material over time due to salt build-up from ice-melting solutions and other saline-based chemicals, plus corroding minerals that may be present during quarry, mining, or masonry work. And featuring heavy-duty left and right steel linesman shanks, the boots not only add extra support to your knees and lower back, but are also optimized for utility work as climbing electrical towers is made easier. Beneath your feet, a pair of Vibram 261K outsoles have a one-piece structure with rubber lugs that not only provides outstanding traction on outdoor terrain when combined with the logger heel, but it’s also less prone to cracking and splitting over time because it’s just one solid piece of rubber. The outsole is also resistant to oil and heat, helping it to withstand chemical degradation and melting when exposed to such things. This underfoot protection is supplemented by puncture-resistant insole boards that help to prevent penetration and subsequent injury by sharp debris like rods, beams, nails, and shrapnel. If conditions turn wet on the jobsite, a waterproof breathable membrane keeps water out while allowing moisture to escape, keeping your feet dry while also preventing blister formation.
